A pastor in Iran has been the target of religious discrimination and is currently detained in Evin prison, a prison known for its harsh treatment of prisoners, poor living conditions, and the use of torture on inmates. The United Nations Working Group on Arbitrary Detention released an opinion stating that Pastor Nadarkhani's imprisonment is arbitrary and calls upon Iran to remedy the situation without delay.
